I am a 9th generation metal worker who began blacksmithing while working at a historic village.  After 15 years of doing demonstrations at museums, reenactments, fairs, and festivals I decided to open Old Plank Forge.  At first I primarily made knives for reenactors, but have now branched into historic reproductions, flintlock repair and refurbishing, and even into custom furniture and decor.  See my gallery for examples of my work.
